Research assistantship positions are available to the qualified graduate students working in the Mechanical Behavior Laboratory.

To qualify for the research assistantship in MBL, the applicant should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Commitment and dedication to the research in the general areas of solid mechanics;
• Fine personality and willingness to work with other people;
• Strong background and interest in solid mechanics;
• Minimum GAP: 3.0/4.0;
• Minimum GRE scores: 2000 (Verbal + Quantitative + Analytical)
• Minimum TOEFL score (if international students): 610 (Paper-based), 253 (Computer-based), 102 (Internet-based)
